Abstract

The article that is presented focuses on the manufacture of a sanitizing and disinfecting gel in gel presentation, based on a chlorine dioxide solution, which has a lower production cost than the gel made with isopropyl alcohol, which is a material most common cousin. At present, the most used products are alcohol-based, these are effective, however, their cost may increase and their availability decrease due to high demand, this puts local merchants who cannot afford it in a difficult situation. already known disinfectant products. Chlorine dioxide is presented as a cheaper alternative to be used, which is currently used in the disinfection of drinking water treatment, due to its disinfectant capacity in low concentrations and its electrolytic production is lower cost compared to available disinfectants. in the market.
