Abstract

This project was developed inside a company located in Guasave, Sinaloa City, whose business is the wholesale trade of construction materials. An analysis of the organizational culture was conducted to measure the knowledge of employees regarding the objectives, mission, and vision of the company, as well as the organizational culture. The physical and environmental conditions, lighting, noise, equipment, and adequate spaces were reviewed, as well as certain prerogatives established by law as labor rights. At the same time, the sense of belonging to the company and the psychological environment derived from interpersonal relationships and the development of activities are analyzed, adapting an instrument used by a higher education school in the TecNM system. An evaluation of the organizational climate was also carried out using the EDCO scale, considering factors such as identity, which evaluates the commitment and pride towards the company; the analysis of norms; the focus on customer satisfaction; and finally, the search for social well-being, which establishes the balance between work and personal life as a central point. Through the establishment of strategies and instruments for their application, management, and control, we seek to promote continuous improvement to generate a competitive advantage, through indicators that raise the quality of services and products, ensuring their permanence in the market; through the analysis of internal factors, to discover the strengths to be exploited and the weaknesses to be eliminated.
